Fundraising Activities

In 2007, SAI held a very successful Gardens Open afternoon at Langbaurgh Grange which it is hoped will become an annual event, taking place on the third Sunday in June, with plant stall, tombola, book stall and Indian crafts as well as teas. At the end of October we also held a Café Open Day in Grosmont, as well as attempting a car boot sale.

One of the Trustees gives regular presentations with slides, both about the school and about her travels and plant hunting trips. She also speaks to schools on request. Interested parties should contact the Secretary.

In future, we hope to have around three major fund raising events each year, and welcome anyone who is able to offer their help, either with these activities, or by holding an event of their own.
