Successful Fundraising Auctions

Christchurch and the NHS Retirement Fellowship recently auctioned Christmas presents that were either unwanted or surplus to requirements. Both have held many such auctions before, it is a good, fun and easy way of raising considerable amounts of money, while also recycling items and putting them to good use.
School Aid India is very lucky to be their beneficiary this year. The money will be a huge help in paying some of the cost of new furniture currently being finished off for the older children. They have been using tiny benches up until now. The wood has been drying out for many months and we cannot wait to see the finished articles which will be greatly welcomed by the older children.
Thank you to both Christchurch and the NHS Retirement Fellowship for their very generous contributions.
